FAQ

What is a fanzine?
Fanzines can be many things, but the Space Leaper Fanzine will be a short art book in magazine form showcasing Space Leaper artwork!
What content will be in the fanzine?
The fanzine will be SFW only, but may include suggestive posing and character designs. There will be no gore or horror content. All featured characters will be canon (no OC characters) but may sport alternative non-canon outfits. Any character from Space Leaper can be featured, not just Amber!
Where will profits go? Will contributors get compensated?
First and foremost, money will go to any printing and manufacturing costs. Once that is all taken care of, it will be split evenly between artists based on contribution. All artists will also receive a free physical copy of the zine granted they pay shipping.
What are the specs of the fanzine?
The final zine will be distributed in both a digital PDF form and a physical letter size (8.5*11") staple bound art book.

What do you expect from applicants?
When artist applications open, applicants should fill out the form in entirety. Acceptance / Rejection emails will be sent according to the schedule.
Once accepted, artists will need to supply the zine with an original full illustration created specifically for the zine following print guidelines set forth by zine moderators.
How will communication happen?
Announcements will be made on Instagram, Twitter, through email and on the Discord server. Most smaller communication will be done in the Discord server, so a Discord account and regular access is required to be a contributor.
What rights does the zine reserve of contributed artwork?
Artists will be asked to keep zine pieces fully private until we are ready to share previews. The zine will then use the art piece in the printed zine, sell copies of the zine, and distribute profits as described.
Once the zine is fully completed, artists reserve the rights to do whatever they want with their art pieces.
